Wolf Creek Ski Area is open for the 2024-2025 ski season with 7-day-a-week operations!
The Bonanza, Treasure, and Nova Lifts are operating from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Today, Wednesday, October 30th, giving access to roughly 25% of the mountain. Β The Magic Carpet isΒ open for the Wolf Pup & Wolf Rider Programs.
Uphill traffic is discouraged at this time due to heavy equipment and snow-making operations.Β
Wolf Creek received 5 inches of snow from the latest storm bringing the snow depth to 15 inches at the midway. Conditions are Variable Off-Piste with early season conditions and unmarked obstacles. There will be limited Skiing throughout the mountain. The year-to-date snowfall is 31 inches. Machine-groomed trails can be found on the grooming report page here. Β As usual, with more snow and winter conditions, more terrain and lifts will open.
Lift Tickets are at Local Appreciation Rates; $50 for adults, $49 for seniors and $34 for children.
Ski School, Ski & Snowboard Rental, and Treasure Sports are open. Β The BoarderDome is closed for maintenance until further notice. Β Snowboard Rental is now in the Rental Shop. Β The Pathfinder Bar is open as well. Β The Upper Lodge is available with limited food service. The Base Camp picnic building is also open.
Wolf Creek is celebrating its 85th Anniversary! There will be fun events and activities throughout the season that offer skiers and boarders a chance to win prizes and swag.Β Visit the 85th Anniversary page for details.
Wolf Creek Ski Area is accepting applications for full-time, part-time and holiday positions in all departments: Lifts, Ski School, Food & Beverage, Base Operations, Ski & Snowboard Rental, Retail Sport Shop, Ticket Office, Accounting, Snow Reporting/Guest Services, Ski Patrol, Grooming, Snow Removal, Custodial Building Maintenance and Freelance Photographer.Β All jobs are winter seasonal (November β April).Β All positions offer skiing privileges and competitive wages starting at $19/hour. No vehicles are permitted to stay overnight in any parking lots, with the exception of the Snowshed (Overflow) Lot.Β Wolf Creek Ski Area in conjunction with the United States Forest Service have developed policies & procedures available at this link.
