The trail designations at Wolf Creek Ski Area are not necessarily the same as a similarly rated trail at another area. This is a relative system that is valid only at Wolf Creek Ski Area. Skiers and riders should work their way up, beginning with the easiest trails regardless of their ability level, until they are familiar with the trails at Wolf Creek Ski Area.
The beautiful Alberta Park Area has over six miles of complimentary cross-country trails for cross country skiers, skate skiers and snowshoers. Tracks are groomed regularly for both classic and skate skiers. Below are some highlights of the Nordic loops.
Nordic Loops
Red Trail – 1 mi.
Green Trail – 1.5 mi.
Blue Trail – 3.7 mi.

Accessing the trails
Trail access is located at the end of the Alberta Parking Lot
Normally lifts are open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; however there are periods of time when this schedule does not apply. The public may see lifts opening at 9:00 a.m. early season or during a big storm cycle.
