Wolf Creek Ski Area is seeking full-time, part-time & holiday positions in many departments.
Full-time positions are scheduled for a minimum of 3 days a week while part-time positions must commit to all holiday periods. Positions are winter seasonal - November thru April.

Positions require positive contact with guests, being able to balance both team and individual responsibilities, meet the physical demand of standing throughout the workday, working in adverse conditions, having a positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team setting. All positions offer skiing privileges and competitive wages starting at $19/hour.  Merit increases based on performance and experience.

Ski School

Full & part-time, seasonal positions available. Job duties include teaching guests in a group setting, customer service and other duties assigned by supervisor and management. 
- Ski & Snowboard Instructors for all ages
- Wolf Pup Building Attendant (Wolf Pup & Wolf Rider Programs are for children ages 8 and under)
--> Job duties include meeting and greeting the Wolf Pups & Wolf Riders and families, supervise the check in process, set wolf pup skis and provide assistance to Wolf Pups with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Lynx Building Attendant (Lynx Learning Center is for beginner skiers ages 9 and older)
--> Responsibilities include opening, maintain and closing the Lynx Center as a one stop shop for beginner skiers and private lessons. Attendants will also fit boots and skis for guests, book and manage reservations and provide customer service to guests.

Snow Reporter/Guest Services

Full or part-time desk position, from 6am to 3pm; must have interactive web experience, command of Microsoft office, and strong organizational & communication skills. Snow Reporter will communicate with Patrol each morning to create ski report that lists weather, snow conditions and events/happenings. Snow Reporter will then update snow reporting websites and recordings. After snow reporting portion of the job is completed, the snow reporter transitions to guests services which entails answering phone calls and emails with general guests inquires.

Custodial Building Maintenance

Wolf Creek Ski Area is hiring full and part-time positions in the janitorial maintenance department. Job duties include cleaning restaurant facilities, restrooms and vacuuming.

Full and part-time seasonal positions available. Duties include but are not limited to operating heavy equipment to clear snow from parking lots, working in winter storm conditions, having a positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team setting. Heavy equipment experience and mechanical knowledge is a plus with pay based on experience. Work shifts generally include midnight to mid-morning hours.

Part-time and holiday, seasonal positions available. Experienced driver looking to make extra money during peak dates/holidays. A Commercial Drivers License is not required, however pay is commensurate with professional experience and licensing.

Freelance Photographer & videographer

Specialize in action shots to explore the ski area and capture scenes, skiers and terrain during weekdays, weekends and holidays. Ability to be available on short notice required. You will need your own suitable equipment (camera and lenses) and be proficient with Lightroom and/or Photoshop. Strong skier or snowboarder preferred.

Full-time, year-round positions available.  Our team has open positions for lead mechanics who are willing to learn as well as expand their skills and abilities.  Applicants need to be positive, team oriented, self-motivated and must posses their own tools/tool box.  Knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines required.  Mechanical and operational understanding of heavy equipment, snow cats, automotive electrical systems, hydraulics/hydrostatic drive systems, transport buses and metal fabrication are all a major plus. Job Summary
Overseeing the everyday running of restaurant. The manager must maintain a healthy work environment; managing personalities of their employees and motivating their team to consistently produce high quality food and an inviting atmosphere for any client that comes into the dining room or on the deck. A communicative professional relationship must be maintained with Food & Beverage Manager, as Assistant Manager will work closely with them. Input on Staffing and scheduling will be highly valued.

• Ensure grill is serving full breakfast service till 10:30am
• 10:00am start prepping for lunch
• Make sure you or grill cook is prepped and serving full lunch service 11am- 3:30pm.
• 3:30pm have a need list and stock from storage for the next day.
• At 4pm close cash register and ensure all of kitchen and dishes are clean and stocked for the next day.
• Drop off deposit and radio at ticket office at the end of the day as you are leaving/before 5:00pm.
• Ensure that you and all employees are following the checklist to guarantee all customers are satisfied and quality is maintained no matter what staff you have on hand.
• Responsible for knowledge and adherence to all relevant CDPHE food handling rules and regulations for self and all employees.
• Ensure self and employees are wearing non-slip approved kitchen foot
• Responsible for completing and requiring all employees to complete Food and Beverage Level 1 and Level 2 Training.

Job Summary
Employees will work in 1 of 8 industrial kitchens located on the mountain or in the base area. Must be prepared (will be told ahead of time) to dress warm to transport to an on-mountain restaurant when needed. You will be responsible to prep a variety of basic foods. Due to the variable skier attendance, there will be a flexible amount of staff in each kitchen depending on the days needs/projected food customers. All Food and Beverage employees may be asked to help fill needs as they arise if there is a staffing shortage. Employees are expected to complete Job Task Checklists each day. Each job checklist has a prep list, a serving time window with tasks that maintains customer serving standards in the kitchen, and a cleaning section for tasks that are done after the kitchen is done serving food. All job station checklists must be completed each day.

Housing & Transportation
Prospective employees are responsible for securing their own housing and reliable transportation.  Housing is located at the base of Wolf Creek Pass in either Pagosa Springs (23 mi. to the West) or South Fork (18 mi. to the East).

International Applicants
Wolf Creek Ski Area currently cannot sponsor any work visas for foreign applicants.  If you are already authorized to work in the U.S. and feel you can secure your own housing and transportation, please apply via our application process.

Normally lifts are open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; however there are periods of time when this schedule does not apply. The public may see lifts opening at 9:00 a.m. early season or during a big storm cycle.
