Wolf Creek Ski Area Equipment Rental:

Wolf Creek’s Ski and Snowboard Rental Shops continuously increase their fleets with new demo, sport and standard models from some of the best manufactures in the industry. An excellent variety of skis, snowboards, telemark skis and cross country skis are offered online and in-person. We never run out!

Ski Rental is located in the Sport Center building just across from the Ticket Office.

Snowboard Rental is located in the Boarder Dome next to the Wolf Creek Lodge, uphill from Ski Rental.

~ Ski Sets include skis with bindings, boots & poles.
~ Snowboard Sets include snowboard with bindings & boots.
~ Certified technicians personally fit all equipment.
~ A Driver’s License or Credit Card are required for deposit.
~ Clothing, goggles and helmets are NOT available for rent, but can be purchased at Treasure Sports.

Basic Set

Ideal for skiers just starting out or just getting comfortable with cruising groomers all day.  This set will provide a comfortable and stable platform for whatever your needs may be.

Child Set

For skiers 12 years old and younger.  Child ski sets are for all ability levels.

Sport Set

Ideal for skiers looking to work on elevating their skill set to the next level.  This set offers a wide variety of snow specific and skier specific skis to help take your skiing to the next level.

Performance Set

Ideal for skiers looking to try our top of the line snow and skier specific skis.  This set includes twin tips, tip rocker, hard snow, powder skis and lady specific sets.

Demo Set

Includes skis that have been field tested and hand-picked by Wolf Creek staff members.  Performance and relevance to our mountain is the main criteria of judgment to assemble an amazing line-up.

In-person equipment rental is available every morning or afternoon between 3:00-4:30 pm for the following ski day.

Please remember Wolf Pups should get equipment at the Wolf Pup Building and First Day Beginner Skiers should get equipment at the Lynx. *unless online reservations have been made.
Can I rent the day before my first day of skiing?

We can accommodate guests renting the afternoon prior to their first day of skiing between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please remember that the process may take longer than if coming first thing in the morning due to the fact that not all of our techs are dedicated to setting in the afternoon. We are also juggling returns and resets from guests that skied that day. Online reservations CANNOT be picked up the afternoon prior.

Having trouble making a reservation for a specific time slot?

There are limited availabilities for making a reservation at a specific time, please choose another time slot.

I'm making a reservation but I have my own boot, does that matter?

Yes!  It's best to do a walk-in rental with your own boot, otherwise, you are paying the full package price if booked online.  There is no price break if reserving online.

I'm here for four days but only want to ski three, can I skip a day?
Rentals must be charged for everyday they are checked out.  If you would like to skip a day, please turn your items in and rent again the day you come back to ski.
Coming with a church, school or activity group?
Group paperwork must be submitted via email at least two weeks prior to arrival.  This helps the shop stay organized and plan out where groups can be accommodated.  It is imprtant that individual's personal information - height, weight, shoe size and age - are accurate!

Powder Room Seasonal Ski Lockers

The Powder Room offers season pass holders the luxury of a private room complete with seasonal RFID ski and snowboard lockers, boot and helmet dryers, restrooms and a few other fun perks.  The custom lockers will offer pass holders the opulence of on-mountain storage and exclusive guest benefits!

Infrared Wax Packages

Using the “Wax Future” infrared wax machine Wolf Creek provides guests with the latest and highest quality waxing technology offered in the ski industry today. The waxing machine heats up the ski/snowboard, which allows the specialized wax to penetrate the base layer. A higher wax penetration and absorption results in a long lasting gliding capacity of the ski and snowboard bases especially with hard waxes. The even distribution of the temperature over the whole ski leads to a homogeneous wax penetration.

Wax Packages are set up with or without demos, whatever works for you!

Includes wax and demo. Leave your skis or board at the rental and test-drive “demo skis” or “demo snowboard” for 2 hours while your skis are getting waxed. No waiting just keep going while your own skis/board are getting serviced.
Performance Package
Includes wax and tuning edges by certified technicians
Premium Package
Includes the whole nine yards! Wax, edge tuning, and test-drive “demo skis” or “demo snowboard” for 2 hours. Don’t miss a beat in fabulous conditions while your equipment is getting the highest quality service.

*If you want to continue with the demos after the first 2 hours, there is an additional

Normally lifts are open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; however there are periods of time when this schedule does not apply. The public may see lifts opening at 9:00 a.m. early season or during a big storm cycle.
