Sunday, April 5th, was the final day of the 2025-2026 ski season. Wolf Creek would like to thank all of our guests & employees for a great ski season!! We hope everyone has a fun & safe summer and look forward to seeing you for the 2026-2027 season!!
Due to heavy logging operations, felling of hazard trees, log decks, and large ruts that can be two to three feet deep across fall lines, Uphill Access is closed for Spring 2026. We encourage the skiing public to recreate in the surrounding Rio Grande and San Juan National Forests, with alternatives being the Wolf Creek Access Road, Lobo Overlook, Big Meadows, and Tucker Ponds.
The Meadow Loop and Spencer’s Loop as well as Lake Spur Nordic trails are open. They were last groomed on April 2nd.
Business Office hours are currently Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
** No vehicles are permitted to stay overnight in any parking lots, with the exception of the Snowshed (Overflow) Lot. Wolf Creek Ski Area in conjunction with the United States Forest Service have developed policies & procedures available at this link.
** Per 36 CFR261.50 (a) there is a permanent closure to all motorized vehicles within the Special Use Permit.
