A subtle shift in the seasons hints that fall is on the horizon, and Wolf Creek Ski Area is preparing for the 2026-2027 ski season!
As usual, Wolf Creek’s opening date is dependent on weather, temperatures and natural snowfall. Announcements on the opening date will be found here and 1-800-SKI-WOLF.
The Pre-Season Pass Sale will begin Saturday, September 26th and run through Sunday, October 4th, 2026! Passes during the Pre-Season Sale will only be available for purchase online. Pass holders who would like to have their photos and new season pass cards printed during the sale can visit the Ticket Office to do so Saturday, September 26th through Sunday, October 4th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
WolfCreekSki.com is in the process of being updated with 2026-27 information. Lift tickets, group lessons and equipment rentals will be available for pre-purchase once Wolf Creek Ski Area is open for 7-day-a-week operations. Wolf Creek Ski Area is accepting applications for full-time, part-time and holiday positions in all departments: Lifts, Ski School, Food & Beverage, Base Operations, Ski & Snowboard Rental, Retail Sport Shop, Snow Reporting/Guest Services, Grooming, Snow Removal, Custodial Building Maintenance and Freelance Photographer. All jobs are winter seasonal (November – April). All positions offer skiing privileges and competitive wages starting at $20/hour. ** No vehicles are permitted to stay overnight in any parking lots, with the exception of the Snowshed (Overflow) Lot. Wolf Creek Ski Area in conjunction with the United States Forest Service have developed policies & procedures available at this link.
** Per 36 CFR261.50 (a) there is a permanent closure to all motorized vehicles within the Special Use Permit.
