Wolf Creek is excited to announce the mountain is 100% open with all lifts operating from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.! Wolf Creek Ski Area is now open 7 days a week with excellent early season conditions.
Wolf Creek received 9 inches of fresh powder in the past 24 hours bringing the latest storm total to 18 inches! The midway base snow depth is 39 inches. Conditions are powder, packed powder with early season conditions and obstacles. The year-to-date snowfall total is 75 inches. Wolf Creek has excellent early season skiing!
Wolf Creek has been advised the Colorado Department of Transportation that the west side of the pass will be closing at 6:00 a.m. this morning, Saturday, November 30th for avalanche mitigation work. The West side of the pass is expected to re-open around 8:00 a.m. The East side of the pass will remain open to the ski area. The Prospector will be open for the early birds at 6:00 am with breakfast starting at 6:30 am.
Lift tickets are at regular rates for the season. Lift tickets are $76 for adults, $46 for seniors and $39 for children.
The Wolf Creek Ski School is available, for both adults and children, including the Wolf Pup Program. The Ski Rental, Boarder Dome and Treasure Sports are open.
The Wolf Creek Lodge is open with a full menu as well as the Prospector Grill, the Continental Espresso Bar and Base Camp, Wolf Creek's Picnic Building.
The Cosmic Mountaineering Race, a competitive ski mountaineering race, has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 8th. Visit the Cosmic Mountaineering website for more details.
The Nordic Trails were groomed Thursday, November 28th.
