Updates for
* Wolf Creek Ski Area has 50% of its terrain open, with potential mid-day closures of certain avalanche terrain due to above normal temperatures and wet slab avalanche concerns.
* Also due to abnormally warm conditions, skiing on groomed runs is recommended. Some trails have not been groomed, so please check the grooming report. Best conditions are early morning on groomed runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Steeper terrain improves as temperatures get warmer. Snow conditions can get sticky on less steep terrain as temperatures increase.
* Lift tickets are at Local Appreciation Rates through the end of the season (April 5th)! Adults are $70, Seniors are $51, and Children are $35. Re-loadable lift tickets can be pre-purchased at shop.WolfCreekSki.com.
* Ladies! On March 30th there is a Ms. Mondays Clinic, geared for C+ ability levels and up (wedge turns on green terrain/heel and toe slide on green terrain)! A 2-hour morning session with a female instructor is available for $48 when paired with an all-mountain lift ticket for $70 ($51 for seniors). Ladies signed up for Ms. Mondays can also enroll a 3-4 y/o child in a morning Wolf Pups session that day for $115.
* March 31st is a Tuesday Turns and Technique Clinic. Skiers and boarders who are C ability and above (wedge turns on green terrain/heel and toe slide on green terrain) can purchase a lift ticket for $70 ($51 for seniors) and a 2-hour morning lesson for just $48.
* The Upper Lodge and Pathfinder Bar are open, as well as the Prospector Grill which is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
* The Base Camp Building is open to picnickers and has vending machines available.
* The Continental Espresso Bar is open.
* Raven’s Grill and Raven’s Roost are closed for the season.
* Check out Noel Sport's Spring Sale with 25% off after ski snow boots and 25% off Scarpa gear and other great deals! Look for the purple sale tags.
* The Meadow Loop Nordic trail is open. It was last groomed and the track was set on March 15th. Expect bare spots and punchy snow. It is best in the early morning. To access the trail, nordic skiers will need to walk rather than ski to the Meadow Loop.
* Uphill traffic is permitted on Kelly Boyce to Divide Trail during lift operating hours. Purchase your uphill pass at the Ticket Office.
* Check WolfCreekSki.com or 1-800-SKI-WOLF for the most up-to-date information.
