Private Lessons

Due to COVID-19 restrictions the only lessons currently offered at Wolf Creek Ski Area are Private Lessons.

Moving from the Pre-Season plan, this Winter Plan allows for other amenities to open at the ski area’s discretion. Besides a limited Ski School, the Ski and Snowboard Rentals are now available; Treasure and Noel Sports are open.

Private Ski SchoolA more personal and in-depth, one-on-one learning experience. Focuses on form and establishing better technique to improve skiing or snowboarding. Private lessons are available to both skiers and snowboarders of all ages from beginners to experts.

Normally private lessons are scheduled at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. During slower periods, private lessons are available upon request and are purchased at the Lift Ticket office. A lift ticket must be purchased along with private lesson ticket.

Adult beginner skiers taking a private lesson will meet at the Lynx Adult Learning Center.  Intermediate and advanced skiers as well as all adult snowboard private lessons will meet at the Private Lesson sign in the Ski School meeting area located between the Nova and Bonanza lifts. Children 8 or younger taking a private lesson will report to the Wolf Pup Building for the lesson. Ski Instructors wear Kelly green jackets and are available to answer any questions or give directions.

Private lessons can be booked in advance, and is strongly recommended during peak holiday periods (Christmas and Spring Break). Pre-payment is required with a credit card; refunds are not given for missed or cancelled lessons. Rescheduling is an option if done with enough advance notice. Private Lessons do not include equipment rental or lift ticket.
